Stephanie Metz is a teacher, writer, and scholar based in Cincinnati, Ohio. A lifetime of reading culminated in earning a doctorate in American literature, specializing in nineteenth and twentieth-century women writers. She has taught classes in first-year composition, professional writing, literature, and film. Currently, she directs children’s theater productions for kids ages three to eighteen. Offline she can be found chasing her pound puppy, Darcy, around the house, and putting her countless hours of foodie TV viewing to use in the kitchen.
